The Wiccan Way of Learning

The Basics You Need To Know To Tread The Wiccan Path

There are many different sorts of witches. Some practice traditions based on their ethnic origins or traditional paths such as Gardenian,  Alexandrian or Dianic. Knowledge of the Wiccan Path  is gained from a variety of sources including esoteric book stores, workshops or even the internet. Sometimes you will be drawn to a certain path and you cannot understand why. Time will tell and you will be lead to the teacher that is right for you.

You do not have to join a coven to be a witch. There are many practicing Witches who are solitary. They have no need to join a coven and have fulfilling magical and spiritual experiences. Then there are others who get together with only a few likeminded people. You have to decide what is the best path for you. A word of caution here, if you feel uncomfortable in any group situation, Wiccan or otherwise leave straight away. Don’t let anyone tell you it will get better, just go. You can always try another group or person to learn from. Perhaps the Wiccan Path is not for you. You will find what you want by trial and error.

Witches are everywhere, they are all around you. Your neighbor could also be a witch. You cannot just look at someone and the way they dress and state that that person is a witch. According to the Wiccan concept of Karma whatever you do good or bad it will come back to you threefold. If you remember nothing else remember the basic rule of the Wiccan Rede, “Harm None and Do What You Will”
Happy learning and many blessings.
